Kitchen Organization DIY: Hanging Pot Rack Wall

Hey friends! Today I am sharing how I created this awesome pot rack wall for our kitchen. One of my favorite parts about this DIY is that it looks so good with my Kitchen Conversion Chart hanging from it.

This project features our Chalkboard  Kitchen Conversion Chart (which also comes in white, and green chalkboard as well)

For hardware product sources, you can check out my original blog post about it HERE.

The first step to this DIY Pot Rack is locating the studs in your wall. I decided to build a “ladder” style frame to attach the rails to. This is a great solution to mounting your pot rack when your studs aren’t in the exact place you need them to be.

To install your rail, follow the Ikea assembly directions, and then attach the rail the two screws you added on each side on the “ladder” board for a secure mount.

Repeat the above step until all your rails are installed.

We barely use the bottom rail, but it works as a great protective bumper for the pots hanging on the rod above.

This set up doesn't just work for pots and pans...

It's great for hanging all your every day items: oven mitt, scissors, measuring cups, cheese grater, and of course art!

It's especially helpful when it comes to storing all my cookware, considering how we tore down the upper kitchen cabinets in this space (see the before HERE)

Here's a quick view of the Kitchen Conversion Chart in white.

Well, that's it for now.
